Challenge

The European Commission’s ReCulture Project aimed to modernize cultural institutions in the Western Balkans by engaging young designers through a regional open call. The goal was to promote the project effectively, attract a diverse pool of talented applicants, and inspire innovative rebranding for these institutions. To achieve this, the marketing needed to balance clarity, creativity, and cultural relevance across digital platforms.

Strategy

The strategy centered on creating a strong digital presence through a website, paid campaigns, and social media support. The website served as the project’s core, featuring clear and engaging content that not only explained the open call and guided applicants through the process but also provided updates on project progress and news.

To amplify reach, a targeted paid social campaign was developed, leveraging data-driven insights to connect with young designers across the region. Social media content further supported these efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and visibility for key milestones. Together, these initiatives promoted the open call, increased project awareness, and encouraged submissions from emerging talent.
